"First of all, this place is big. I loved the taste of the tahu sumedang. Tahu sumedang feels like its crispy on the outside, soft and tasty in the inside, a little bit salty though, a perfect example of a great tahu sumedang that i ever try. The sauce is a bit spicy, but also a bit sweet, it tastes almost like "a petis", but, the taste gone in a short while after it enters mouth. So it feels like a burst of flavour thats gone in a second. The parking space is big (around 20 cars). Well, if you pass this place, dont miss it. Its one to try."

"Good taste of karedok. Love it! Nasi timbel with nila fish or mas fish is also good. A little bit overprice (55K for nasi timbel). Tahu sumedang 25K/25 pieces. But definitely worth to stop for lunch in a rainy day!"

"The place is great. Located in the middle of Balikpapan - Samarinda highway. This place is always packed with people from and to Balikpapan. Ideal rest stop. The gorengan is good, the Indomie Rebus, not so much, the Tahu Sumedang is not like the Tahu Sumedang in Sumedang, the middle is not hollow."

"This place are 2 rest areas in KM 50 Balikpapan- Samarinda road. Situated in both sides of the road. They offered local menus and snacks like banana fritters, fried tofu etc. After long driving from Samarinda/Balikpapan, this place is a good choice to rest and relax."

"I was honestly surprised to find such an authentic Sundanese restaurant right in the middle of the Trans Kalimantan Highway.. Definitely an unexpected gem! The Sundanese flavors are spot on. I had the Nasi Timbel and Ayam Goreng, and both were really delicious and cooked just right. But the real standout for me was the Tahu Sumedang — crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and the taste was exactly like the ones in Sumedang. Super impressive! Prices are also fair and reasonable for the quality of food. Definitely worth a stop if you’re passing through the area and take a rest here!"
